What is the prerequisite of establishing a unique Customer ID?
The organization needs to establish a unique Customer ID – an internal ID that uniquely identifies the Customer. The unique Customer ID shall be used as the glue to connect all the various Customer Accounts, an individual Customer may have, via the different branches or subsidiary companies, the organization may have.
For example, a Bank may have multiple product accounts for the Customer who has a current mortgage loan as well as two credit cards. A Telco organization may have a Customer who subscribes to the ISP as well as wireless services.
